Children’s Cultural Programme by the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities.
This August, the Bahrain National Museum is turning into a hub of creativity, curiosity, and culture — just for kids! From August 4 to 27, the Children’s Cultural Programme by the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities is giving eight to 12-year-olds a chance to become junior archaeologists, artists, storytellers, and more.
Each of the four weeks brings a fresh theme — from History Explorers to Bahraini Treasures— running every Monday to Wednesday, from 9am to noon. Expect hands-on workshops, field trips to cultural landmarks like the Post Office Museum, Barbar Temple, and the House of Basket Weaving, plus storytelling, arts and crafts, pottery-making, and even traditional cooking!
It’s fun, educational, and a great way to spend the summer diving into Bahrain’s rich heritage. Parents can sign their kids up for a week that fits their schedule via culture.gov.bh
