Halsey to play surprise, last-minute London show

"The first surprise is: tomorrow I'm doing a free show."

Earlier this week, the 'Lucky' singer took to X/Twitter, teasing fans with a nostalgic surprise planned for Wednesday, adding, “I’m in London, and I have a surprise planned for Wednesday. feeling reaaaaaal nostalgic about it :)”. The tweet included a link to a phone number that fans could text for updates.

Those who texted the number received a special invitation to a free show at KOKO in London, happening tomorrow night (August 14). The reply read, “Hi its Halsey. I’ll be texting you here first for updates on my music, my album, and other surprises. And the first surprise is: tomorrow I’m doing a free show @ KOKO where I haven’t played since ‘Badlands’. Free tickets here.”

This surprise gig was hinted at last week (August 9) when the musician tweeted, “London I have a surprise for you next week. Don’t miss out.” It comes hot on the heels of Halsey’s performance at Sziget Festival 2024, where she gave fans a taste of a new “rock song.”
