Barbie movie banned in Vietnam

The long awaited Barbie Movie set for release on the 21st July has been banned in Vietnam.

A scene in the movie shows a map of China's independently claimed territory in the south China sea.

The U-shaped "nine-dash line" which is offensive in Vietnam is used on Chinese maps to illustrate its claims over many areas of the South China Sea, including the areas that Vietnam have ownership.
